Mr. Hoffman is a Senior Associate with Capital Trust Ventures where he is responsible for deal flow, due diligence, and serving portfolio companies. Prior to CTV Mr. Hoffman was a Summer Associate at Updata Partners. He led market research and deal flow generation for the healthcare IT, security software, and information services sectors. Mr. Hoffman also co-led due diligence on a portfolio company acquisition and subsequent B-round equity financing. Prior to Updata, Mr. Hoffman was Director of Sales for the Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ: ABCO), a healthcare services firm based in Washington, DC. While there he launched a subscription based software service aimed at hospital supply chain executives. Prior to working with the Advisory Board Company Mr. Hoffman worked for Intel Corporation as a member of their Sales and Marketing Leadership Program. While with Intel Mr. Hoffman held positions in product management, business development, and consulting, including a one year ex-pat assignment in Germany. While in Germany he launched two major marketing programs inside Russia, Poland, and Turkey. Mr. Hoffman earned a BS in computer science from Penn State University and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He serves as a board observer with a number of private companies. |
